Hiking, fishing and photography tours in the Selkirks
Join us for a day-hike around one of North America's best forests!
Still called native-habitat by threatened species, like the grizzly bear and the lower-48's last Woodland Caribou, the Selkirk Mountains are one of the last Rocky Mountain sub-ranges harboring complete pockets of intact ecosystems. All About Adventures, Inc. is permitted to hike into over 250,000 acres of pristine high mountain areas.Hikes include: Hunt Lake, Fault Lake, Lookout Mountain, Mollies' Lake, Standard and Two-Mouth Lakes,
Mount Roothann - Chimney Rock and the
Natural Rock Slide on Lion's Head Creek.
Our hike leaders are licensed by the State of Idaho, knowledgable about varied subjects such as explorers David Thompson and Lewis & Clark and our wild geography. We trust you'll enjoy their narrations about the treasures of our area including the world's largest floods, the lower-48's only woodland caribou herd and our valued native species.*All hike times are custom arranged and transportation can be provided from Priest River to the trailheads.
A list of items to bring along will be provided after booking.

The Selkirks is one of the most remote mountain ranges making up the massive Rocky Mountain chain. In the lower-48 they run for 44-miles from Sandpoint to the Canadian border and offer the traveler every hiking, fishing and photography option under the sun: mountaintop tranquility to lakeside scenery.
