9th - Pick-up at Spokane Int'l Airport, transportation to Schweitzer Mountain Resort
Destination; The Glades Condominiums and the Selkirk and White Pines Lodges at Schweitzer
10th - Idaho/Montana Border to Thompson Falls, Mt.
50 miles
Riding from the US's prettiest town and the world's 26th largest lake, up the world's largest flood path, along the same route on which the very first commercial package to be shipped from the pacific northwest was trapped and assembled! Oh wow, what a start!
Lodging: The Rim Rock Lodge. Restaurant and bowling. Right on the banks of the Clark Fork River.

11th - Thompson Falls, Mt. to St. Maries, Id.
100 miles
Up and over the still unmapped Thompson Pass Highway to Idaho's former capital Murray. From Murray it's down the scenic end of the Coeur d'Alene River to the newest rails to trails route, the Coeur d'Alene River Rails to Trail. Lodging: The Pines Motel. Downtown historic St. Maries.
12th - St. Maries to Moscow
77 miles
Off the Mullan Road we will enter Idaho's White Pine forest, home to the formerally vertical largest white pine, and cross the Palouse Divide on our way to the home of the University of Idaho.
Lodging: Best Western University Inn. Restaurant, pool and hot tub.

13th - Moscow to Orofino
56 miles
Crossing the Palouse, Amerca's wheat belt, and dropping down to the Clearwater River will be absolutely awesome! The 2000ft descent into the Nez Perce Indian Reservation will make for lasting memories. Lewis and Clark's Canoe Camp is featured this afternoon before we pull into historic Orofino.
Lodging: Best Western Orofino. Right on the banks of the Clearwater River.

14th - Orofino Road Ride to Weippe Prairie
51 miles
Around September 18th is when Lewis and Clark stumbled out of the Bitterroot Mountains and were found by boys of the Nez Perce tribe. This day-ride will put us smack in the spot of the most important meetings in our world's history.
Lodging: Best Western Orofino.
Restaurant. Right on the banks of the Clearwater River.
15th - Orofino to Lewiston
81 miles
Now to jump to the other side of the Clearwater River and ride through Nez Perce country. As little as 60 years after they save Lewis and Clark, Cheif Joseph and the Nez Perce band were forced from this land by the US Cavalry.
Lodging: Red Lion - Lewiston. Restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub. Great views of the Clearwater River.
